My name is Jeremy Mitchell. I am an Advanced Placement Economics and World History teacher at Grand Blanc High School. I am seeking to fulfill my dreams of mentoring the next generations at your school.
I believe I have a unique set of professional experiences that would make me a perfect fit for your school and community. I began my post college career as an Army Infantry Officer with the 82nd Airborne Division where I gained invaluable leadership skills. The challenging, yet extremely rewarding experience of leading soldiers in Afghanistan has shaped all of my life choices since. After serving my country I was recruited as a medical device salesman by Johnson & Johnson. In this position I consulted with surgeons and nurses all over the state of Illinois in order to meet their product and service needs. This experience taught me how to listen; a skill I feel has made me a successful educator. I have spent the last three years fulfilling my discovered dream and goal of mentoring the next generation and will devote the rest of my career to this.
